I AM MOST PASSIONATE ABOUT:
The desire to serve our clients interests in the best way I possibly can, that is, with top-of-the-line healthcare design, plus building and strengthening our continuing-client relationships. Hopefully, I can become one of the architects-of-choice for our clients in which we enjoy these continuing relationships.
I AM MOST PROUD OF:
My wife, children and grandchildren.
I HAVE HAD GREAT FORTUNE IN MY LIFE TO:
I guess I was one of the lucky ones that never really had to “decide” on a career path. I pretty much knew from the time I was in grade school that I wanted to be an architect, and enjoyed the art of architectural model-making as a hobby even as young as fifth grade.
I MAKE TIME TO:
Be a servant-leader to my family in any way as needed
IF I HIT THE LOTTERY I WOULD:
Remain anonymous and set up a daily tee-time!

As I entered the professional world, I went to work for a mid-sized firm that specialized in healthcare design, and ever since have essentially dedicated my career to healthcare facilities planning and design… and have been enjoying that as a focus ever since…for over 40 years now!
SOMETHING ABOUT ME NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW:
As a student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I won a design competition to design the memorial to the birth-site of President Gerald Ford, and had the honor of meeting President Ford in-person at the dedication of the birth-site in 1976.
THE BEST PART ABOUT MY JOB AT CLH ARCHITECTS IS:
Working with the fantastic group of colleagues and co-workers that are here!
THE PERSON WHO HAS BEEN THE GREATEST INFLUENCE ON YOUR CAREER:
The clients and professional colleagues / architects that I have had the pleasure to work with over the years.
